پيام شادباش زايش مسيح و سال 2012 ميلادي به هم ميهنان مسيحي در سراسر جهان : کورش زعیم

بزرگداشت زايش حضرت عيسا براي ما ايرانيان كه پشتوانه تاريخي و فرهنگي آن را به جهان هديه كرده ايم، معنايي بس ژرفتر از بزرگداشت يك پيامبر مسالمت جو و مردمي دارد. ميلاد مسيح نماد قدرت فرهنگي ونفوذپذيري انديشه خداشناسي انساندوستانه و زيباي ايراني است. افسانه زيباي پاكي مادر پيامبر، فرستادن سه سفير از سوي ايران به پلستين براي پشتيباني مالي و نظامي از مادر مقدس حضرت عيسا، نگهداشت آيين هاي ايراني در مراسم مذهبي مسيحي و برپايي كليساها و مسجدها بر روي مهرابه هاي ما در سراسر آسيا و اروپا، نشانگر بنيادي بودن انديشه ايراني در فرهنگ غرب است.
من همچنين فرارسيدن سال 2012 ميلادي را به همه هم ميهنان مسيحي در سراسر جهان شادباش مي گويم و نويد مي دهم كه سال نو سال تحول در راستاي سعادت ملت ایران خواهد بود. ما ايرانيان مي توانيم اين سال نو را سال سرآغازي نو به شمار آوريم.
روند پاكسازي جهان از حكومتهاي ديكتاتوري و ضد مردمي در طي دهه گذشته نشانگر این است كه جامعه بشري خود را براي تمدني نوين آماده مي كند. جهانی شدن هرگز بدست نخواهد آمد مگر اينكه حكومتهاي همه کشورهای جهان مردمسالار گردند و رعایت حقوق بشر در سراسر جهان نهادینه شود.
درطی دودهه 1960 تا 1980، بیش از60 کشور جهان از دیکتاتوری ومستعمرگی به نوعي مردمسالاری تبدیل شدند، كه پايان اين سيل دموكراسي، فروپاشي شوروي و آزادي 15 كشور از بردگي عقيدتي بود. این روند با سرعت و گاهی با زور ادامه پيدا كرده است. در دهه آغازين هزاره سوم، كشورهايي مانند عراق، افغانستان، زيمبابوه، تونس، مصر، ليبي، ساحل آج، يمن، سوريه، بحرين و برمه دچار همين تحول بايسته و گريزناپذير شده اند؛ و كشورهايي مانند اردن، سودان، اريتره، سومالي، عربستان، ... و سرانجام كره شمالي در صف نوبت ايستاده اند. جمهوري آذربايجان و كشورهاي آسياي مركزي هم در طي پنج سال آينده متحول خواهند شد. این تحولات نشانه اراده جامعه بشري براي دستيابي به آرمان آزادي مدني، برابري حقوق بشري و يكپارچگي سياسي و اقتصادي در سراسر جهان است. كورش بزرگ بنيانگذار اين آرمان بزرگ در بیست و شش سده پيش بود. او بود كه نظم نوين جهاني را پايه گذاري كرد و رهايي از بردگي عقيدتي و اقتصادي و آزادي انديشه و آزادي گزينش را حق مسلم انسانها اعلام نمود.
حكومتهای خودكامه که یکصد سال پیش اکثریت کشورهای جهان را تشکیل می دادند، اکنون فقط انگشت شمار هستند؛ و آنها كه باقي مانده اند از سرنوشت امثال طالبان، صدام حسين، قذافي و بزودي بشار اسد عبرت بگيرند. آنها بايد "امروز" به صداي ملتهاي خود و ضروريات جهان امروز پاسخ بدهند كه ديگر فردايي برايشان وجود ندارد.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2012

To all Christian Iranians around the World

Commemorating the birth of Christ has much deeper meaning than just honoring a prophet of peace and humanity for us Iranians, who’ve provided its historical and cultural background. Christmas is the symbol of Iranian cultural strength and the influence of Iranian beautiful and humane theology. The beautiful myth of purity of Prophet’s mother, the three emissaries from Iran to give financial and military support for her, durability of Mithraism beliefs and rituals in Christianity and construction of altars over our mihrabs and churches and mosques over our ancient places of worship throughout Asia and Europe, shows Iranian thought and culture as the foundation of Western culture.

I also wish a happy and successful New Year 2012 for all Iranian Christians around the world, and foresee that the year will witness substantial changes in line with pursuit of happiness for the Iranian nation. We Iranians can consider the New Year a new beginning.

During the decades of 1960 and 70 more than sixty countries changed from dictatorship and colonial rule to democracies, the end of which was the disintegration of Soviet Union and freeing of 15 nations from political slavery. This trend is continuing in rapid pace by choice or by force. In the first decade of the third millennium, countries such as Iraq, Afghanistan, Zimbabwe, Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Ivory Coast, Yemen, Syria, Bahrain and Burma faced the force of this must and inevitable change. Countries like Jordan, Sudan, Eritrea, Somalia, Saudi Arabia, and finally North Korea are waiting in cue. Azerbaijan Republic and Central Asian states will submit to the winds of change within five years.

The trend of cleansing the world of tyrannical and corrupt governments during the past decade shows that the world community is preparing for a new civilization. Globalization will never be achieved unless all countries in the world democratize and human rights become institutionalized. This is the will of the human society in order to achieve a new world order of political unity based on civil rights, equality and human rights. This ideal of a new world order of political and economic unity based on civil liberties, freedom of choice and free of doctrinal and economic slavery was first established by Cyrus the Great some 26 centuries.

Tyrannical governments which governed majority of the countries of the world some hundred years ago are now but a few. And those still remaining must take hint from what happened to Taliban, Saddam Hussein, Qaddafi and soon Bashar al-Assad. It is “today” that they must answer the call of their peoples and accept the inevitable, for they no longer have a tomorrow.
